Premier League to introduce new font for 17/18 season
It's the first change since the 97/98 season, when the current font was introduced

After the redesign of the logo, Premier League will also have a new look from next season. The new font that we’ll see on English club’s uniforms has been done in collaboration with Sporting iD, and with its simple modernity perfectly reflects the identity of the Premier League.
The last update graph goes back to 10 years ago, when it was changed the first font introduced for licensing to all participating teams, from the 1997-98 season.
