As can be seen from the coverage of the just-concluded New York Fashion Week Women's SS24, the streets of the Big Apple were awash with some notable new trends this year. The first would be black-and-white, with flowing outfits, more or less chaste, in total black or total white - after all, this is the season of quiet luxury. Another trend that has been spotted, and undoubtedly launched by Prada, is that of the giga-blazer paired with a mini-skirt, in some cases decorated with cargo pockets or in any case with accessories to lighten an otherwise too bon ton vibe. Men, on the other hand, do not give up uncovering their arms and flashing the skin of their bare torso, perhaps covered by a jacket, or perhaps with a cut-out top.
