Street style in the high schools of Rome
What do the students of the capital wear on the first day of school?
September 16th, 2021

After those in Milan, the high schools of Rome have finally reopened too, bringing back a large number of students. Teenagers of all ages have returned to crowd the halls and corridors of schools after almost a year of lockdown and lessons held in front of the computer. And if the return to school in September is a moment full of expectations and promises in itself, so much so that for many it is September the real beginning of the year, the return to the classroom in 2021 is an even more important moment: perhaps the most decisive return to normality for thousands and thousands of students.
At the gates of two of the main high schools in Rome, the Virgilio and the Visconti, the street has finally come back to life, with a crowd of students whose outfits can tell how the new generations understand fashion, the identity they express through their clothes. It is precisely there that Giacomo de Franchis went to explore this identity and x-ray the new tastes and new trends that follow the high school students of the capital.
