Another round, another party - this time official - for Inter Milan who are crowned Italian Champions for the 19th time in their history. A championship won mathematically with four days in advance, bringing the title that was missing from the Triplete season back to an Inter Milan practically celebrating from May 2nd. The manita trimmed at Udinese was the last catwalk on the pitch for the players who first celebrated with families and managers on the San Siro lawn and then moved to a courtyard populated by 4500 enthusiastic fans - a party authorized by the Prefecture of Milan which delimited an area of 19,000 square meters and controlled the progress of the event. Thanks to Eric Scaggiante - the same photographer who told us about the colors of Venice during the lockdown - we went into the crowd that, between smoke bombs and choirs, paid homage to Inter's ride.
Eric's images suggest the first steps towards normality, in stadiums still closed that will gradually open during the European Championships and which could regain the entire available capacity starting from the beginning of next season. A normality that can be seen in the eyes of all the generations present outside the Scala del Calcio: children and the elderly, young and old, all enveloped in the cloud of smoke and waved flags to thank the architects of a championship that gives hope to the Nerazzurri fans.
