The live painting session by APJP for Converse
During White Street Market
June 24th, 2019
This year's edition of White Street Market, that took place from June 15th to 17th at Superstudio Più in Milan, was a platform to discuss the relationship between fashion and sustainability, looking for alternative solutions to the issue of environmental pollution of which the industry of fashion is big responsible.
On Sunday at the Converse stand the guests were the designers of APJP, Alberto Panocchi and Joelle Pomioli, one of the most interesting and sustainable projects of the moment. In partnership with Candiani Denim, a company that has always been sustainable, the denim was the protagonists of a live painting session where the denim was depicted (also with the iconic Chuck Taylor 70 sole), and on which waste material was applied, as the sweetie wrappers. Panocchi and Pomioli gave a concrete example of how fashion can renovate and evolve without polluting.
In our exclusive reportage, we've collected the best moments of the APJP performance at the Converse stand at WSM.
