For Goldwin, man and nature have always been one, a single entity in need of finding its own balance, of reconciling with itself in order to return to being in harmony. A continuous duality, which, like that between body and mind, finds its fulfillment in the exploration of the urban spaces that surround us, discovering the secrets that live in large metropolises, often hidden by the daily routine that suffocates us. Goldwin is synonymous with the outdoors, urban freedom, discovery and adventure. For this reason, the brand's goal has always been to combine urban design with technical performance through a range of items ranging from outdoor to skiwear, up to lifestyle, all following a distinct design philosophy in which attention to detail is always the protagonist.
Values also expressed in the new collection of the Japanese brand, which with the SS22 wants to further develop its three categories - Outdoor, Lifestyle and Athletic - with a series of innovative products in which an eye to sustainability is never missing. To test the new Goldwin collection we asked four creators to explore their city in an urban adventure to discover unique locations. Samutaro took us to London, while Moubarak explored the green heart of Munich. In Berlin, instead, Massimo Taylor, armed with his camera, went to the west of the city, while Steffen and Christopher of Gebrüder Schmid explored a green corner in the heart of the German capital. A way to get back in touch not only with nature, but also with their memories, reconnecting with the theme of SS22: harmonization. Just as Goldwin's new collection aims to recreate the contact between man and nature, through "Discover the secret" the goal is to re-establish the relationship with the spaces that surround us in our daily lives, to turn every day into an everyday adventure.
