5 things to do in Milan this weekend
From 17 to 20 March
March 18th, 2022
Spring is on its way, Easter is just around the corner and in the blink of an eye we will be dealing with the first heat of summer. But before we find ourselves tasting lamb with the relatives or hoping that the fan works, it's time to enjoy the present, our precious free time away from old aunts and intrusive parents, so, right on time as always, here's our faithful list of tips for spending the weekend in peace:
To Eat - House Of Ronin
A neo-art nouveau palace with a sinful atmosphere, a bright and multifaceted temple that transports the patron to Japan: the Rōnin (lit. "man adrift", "person learning to become a samurai" or "man-wave") is the new palace of wonders in Chinatown. A restaurant run by Michelin-starred chef Luigi Nastri and a space where you can have fun with friends at karaoke are just some of the ingredients spread over the four floors of what is set to be one of our hottest spots in Milan.
Via Alfieri 17, Milan
To Chill - Dream House
All you have to do is sign up for an annual membership and enjoy a nice whiskey to enjoy the atmosphere of a club that seems to catapult anyone who enters into the prohibitionist era of the 1930s, while remaining in Porta Romana: this is Dream House, a well-kept and elegant space where you can get to know and taste whisky in all its nuances, perhaps smoking a cigar in the specially dedicated room.
Via Colletta, 17
To Discover - Chagall. A story of two worlds
The exhibition "Chagall. A story of two worlds" at Mudec in Milan traces the restless and tormented life of Marc Chagall through some of his most important works, characterised by a chromatically strong yet thematically delicate expressiveness. The important loans from the Israel Museum recompose atmospheres and feelings from the life of the great twentieth-century painter, who was able to capture the main innovations of the European avant-garde in his production while managing to create an absolutely original and dreamy style.
Via Tortona, 56
To Club - Vintage Culture at Amnesia Milan
In the last twelve months very few other artists in the world have achieved the results, the goals and the feedback of the Brazilian dj and producer Vintage Culture, so on Saturday 19th March his exclusive dj set at Amnesia Milano, the first ever in Italy, is absolutely not to be missed.
Via Alfonso Gatto
To Shop - Vintage is calling
Rinascente chooses to inaugurate the spring season with an event dedicated to the history of fashion and sustainability. Until the end of April, Rinascente stores in Milan, Rome Tritone, Florence and Turin will be hosting VINTAGE IS CALLING, a 100% vintage project, ranging from clothing - for him and her - to furniture, from lighting to decoration, from textiles to jewellery. Inevitable partners in this project are: Angelo Vintage, All'Origine, Madame Pauline Vintage, Vecchio Mio, Cavalli e Nastri, Olivetti, Talea Studio and Fifty Fifty, protagonists, together with their creations, of events and workshops dedicated to the world of vintage fashion and design.
