TikTok is the most visited site of 2021
Overcome competition from Google, Facebook and Amazon

Despite having closed last year in seventh position, in the last 365 days TikTok has climbed the list of the most visited sites in 2021 published by Cloudflare, closing the year in first position. A symbolic result, that interrupts the egenomine of Google, in second position, and that tells of a change that began in the early months of the year when, also thanks to the suspension of the ban against the app decided in the United States, TikTok had climbed rapidly positions, reaching the first place in August reaching a billion active users in the following month.
This is a change that should make the fashion world reflect, since it has started experimenting on the app only recently after an initial approach that was too passive and far from the language of the platform. If the presence on TikTok has now become an obligation for a reality such as a fashion brand, on the other hand it is the task of these companies to understand how to communicate on a platform different from all those to which they were accustomed. A recent example is that of Balenciaga, arrived on the platform on tiptoe but certainly able to find its own space in an app in which fashion certainly has a large space with formats such as hauls or the "get dressed with me".
