BODY won Best Fashion Film Award at the FFFAmsterdam

The winners of the 2021 edition of the Amsterdam Fashion Film Festival, one of the most important festivals dedicated to experimental cinema in Europe, have been announced. Among more than 500 submissions, 50 fashion films were selected and BODY, the nss magazine digital cover n°05 won the first prize as best Fashion Film of the 2021 edition.

This prestigious award comes at a very particular time when the Italian creative and fashion community is strengthened together in a protest over the failure of DDL Zan. The short film addresses - through the stories and bodies of Elettra, Antonio, Sara, Lolita, Numa, Moussa, and Mari - the theme of sexual identity and the dichotomy between natural purity and artificial control, investigating the nuances of the relationship between desire and corporality.

The Amsterdam recognition is not the only international award BODY won, the film written and directed by Tommaso Ottomano, was awarded as the best title in the Experimental category at the Berlin Commercial Festival, entering the Top 10 of categories such as Casting, Cultural Impact, Idea, Direction, Cinematography, Editing and Use of Sound & Music. BODY, the protagonist of nss magazine's Digital Cover N.05, was the first content from an Italian media company to be published on OnlyFans, as a demonstration of the potential that the new NSFW content platform holds for independent publishing magazines, as explained last February Filippo D'Asaro, editor-in-chief of nss magazine, on the occasion of the publication of the short.
