The first digital artwork by a fashion brand sold in NFT
Conceived by Formy Studio and created by Pezzo di Studio
March 15th, 2021
Domenico Formichetti has always made art and artistic inspiration two of the main elements of his brand, Formy Studio. A vocation that is now further amplified with a new project, oriented towards digital art and created by Pezzo di Studio.
The creative studio based in Milan, which has been collaborating with Formy Studio for two years, and which since its foundation has focused on the exploration of new means of communication, has created Feed Me With The Stars, the new artistic concept by Domenico Formichetti in digital art. The work will be published on Foundation on March 16 at 4 pm. The work, truly one of a kind, will be auctioned with a starting base that amounts to just over 1 Ethereum, around 2000 euros. It's in fact a profoundly avant-garde project, which in addition to exploring the potential of digital art, experiments with NFT, non-fungible tokens, a new currency that is revolutionizing the art market. Formy Studio, therefore, elevates graphics to a pure art form, certified through the safest bond that exists today, the blockchain.
Feed Me With The Stars is a subject entirely made in 3D and equipped with movement, which tells the story of a creative's journey through his own inner universe. Space and the stars merge with the protagonist until they take over, embarking on a hallucinogenic journey. The work wants to ask existential questions about our life, our way of relating to the outside world and our way of experiencing art, leading to a Hamletic doubt: are we inside or outside a video game? But above all, will we ever find our "exit door"?
Formy Studio thus cemented its bond with the art world, brought to its creative maximum and to a never seen level of innovation, also experimenting with NFTs, an absolute novelty in the Italian art scene.
