Apple is the most valuable company in the world
Competition from the oil giant Saudi Aramco has also been overcome
August 3rd, 2020
Last Friday, Apple closed its stock exchange day with an exciting result in which the share value closed with a growth of 10.47% to $ 425.04.
The result allowed the Apple stock to reach a total value of 1840 billion dollars, thus overcoming the competition from the Saudi oil giant Saudi Aramco and thus becoming the most valuable company in the world.
Saudi Aramco's primacy lasted from December last year, when it had made its debut on the stock market with a capitalization of 1880 billion dollars, while the present value stands at
1750 billion. Despite a slight drop in the first months of the pandemic, the Apple stock has instead managed to regain ground believing a 30% of the last period.
A news that comes in conjunction with the official one month delay in the release of the next iPhone, which went from September to October. Although the CFO of the company Luca Maestri has not provided any details on the reason behind the choice, for The Wall Street Journal the decision would have been largely due to production delays in Asian factories as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. We are still waiting for an official date.
