Domus Academy to host its first online Open Day
On May 7th, 2020 the Academy of Fashion and Design virtually opens its doors
April 15th, 2020
As Coronavirus brought down both the industries of Fashion and Design, at the same time it has affected all the schools and institutions that educate the designers of tomorrow. Following the new approach with online classes, Domus Academy - one of the first post-graduate design schools in Italy - is offering an online Open Day to welcome its future students. On May 7th, 2020 everyone who's thinking of applying for next year will have the opportunity to take an inside look and get in touch with the academy's staff and its study plan.
To face the health emergency that shut down every physical event, Domus Academy is offering a digital solution. The Open Day will start on Thursday, May 7th, 2020 at 9 am (and it will be replicating at 3.30 pm): the Academy's staff and students will introduce the school's study plan and its Career Service. Finally, there will be time to present a business case study with a real company, in order to offer a real example of the everyday work that goes on when you're a post-graduate student at Domus Academy.
Founded in 1982 in Milan, Domus Academy has become an essential reference point in Europe for all the Fashion and Design post-graduation studies, offering 11 International Masters about Design, Fashion, Business and Experience. In the years, Domus Academy has been awarded by The Business of Fashion with the Special Badge of Excellence in Learning Experience, while in 2009 Business Week referred to it as one of the best Design Schools in the world.
