Garage Italia, Lapo Elkann's hub, keeps re-imagining historic iconic cars, updating them with the new technological standards and converting them to electricity. Following the Fiat 500 Jolly ICON-e, it's now the turn of the Fiat Panda 4x4 ICON-e to capture the attention with a look inspired by Indiana Jones, the famous archaeologist played by Harrison Ford in the 1980s cult film saga. Called Pandina Jones, the model merges vintage style with contemporary functionality. Outside is dark khaki with the wheel on the safari white top, while the interiors are made in bright orange Alcantara. There are many feautures: from the new JBL sound system to the electric power unit designed in collaboration with Newtron Group and flanged directly on the original gearbox that takes the place of the traditional heat engine. A system that enables the car to reach a maximum speed of 115 km/h for a range of 100 km approx. WLTP cycle. The car is charged through a type 2 socket, installed under the fuel flap. The batteries will be completely recharged between 3 and 8 hours. Last but not least, the unmissable icing on the cake is the iconic inclinometer mounted on the instrument panel, typical of cross-country vehicles.
