Gucci unveils the new section of its app dedicated to arcade video games
Gucci Bee and Gucci Ace represent the past and the future of gaming

Gucci is the brand that more than anyone else is focusing on the potential of its app, with the aim of building a strong and lasting bond with its customer and the occasion to experiment with the latest technologies, for example with the AR, used during the last Milan Design Week, and a few weeks ago to virtually try on the Ace Sneakers of the brand.
Now Gucci unveils a new section of its app: Gucci Arcade takes inspiration from the video games made famous in amusement arcades in the 1970s and 1980s, introducing a new dimension with the products and codes of the House. Once again Alessandro Michele gives us a unique synthesis of present and past, with the mind always set towards the future.
Gucci Bee centres on a bee - an icon in the aesthetic of the Maison - that is trapped in a maze. Players must pilot the bee through three levels of increasing difficulty, collecting badges and discovering special elements to score extra points.
Gucci Ace - the second game - is inspired by the idea of revisiting the past, living in the present and looking to the future, as a way of exploring decades of the iconic Gucci Ace sneaker, and was made by nss factory. In this game, each of the three levels represents a specific era in gaming. The higher the level, the more sophisticated the elements. Thus, the first level is dedicated to the 8-bit retro gaming of the past. The second one is set in the present, the era of console gaming, while the final level looks to the future and focuses on mobile gaming.
Both games are accessible from a map on the Gucci App, where each step of the journey leads players to a different game. This pathway tells the story of the House through its codes, in the form of badges hidden in the games and grouped together by theme. Players can collect and place them into a special trophy showcase. Once games are over, users can see their rankings to discover where they sit among high scorers worldwide. Results and badges can also be shared on all social networks and instant messaging platforms.
In the coming months, Gucci Arcade will add new games. The Gucci app is available on the App Store for iOS devices.
