The sun on the face, the smell of salty water and the sound of waves breaking on the rocks. Just close your eyes and imagine the atmosphere in Les Bords de Mer. Located in the coastal city of Marseille, this brand new hotel is built on the ashes of Le Richelieu, an old art deco hotel of the 30s that has been abandoned for a long time. Its greatest feature, the location facing the Mediterranean Sea, was also the main challenge during the renovation project. However, it was only necessary to refine and reinforce the existing building with high-quality materials to ensure stability and prevent future damage caused by climatic conditions, wind or waves. These small, discreet touches have allowed the original aesthetics to be preserved, giving the whole a chic and clean, but not too modern, atmosphere, enhanced by the marble finishes on the facades that reflect sunlight. The rooms are bright, fresh and enjoy a breathtaking view of the sea, like every other space in the building.
