This instagram page is the Milanese guide to all free events of the city
@milanodascrocco is the perfect remedy to the high cost of living in the city

Have you ever been around town with nothing to do but not wanting to spend money on attractions? This newly launched Instagram page tells you just that, what to do, where to go, when to go, around Milan all for free. @milanodascrocco is an initiative created by three creative students of Brera Academy of Fine Arts as a daily guide to all free events and attractions happening in the city.
The page started as a project by these students who often found themselves competing with the high cost of living in the city.
We’re all from different cities outside of Milan with different financial realities, but being students, we often found ourselves in search of different solutions to offset costs. After we all met during our new technology course at school, we began talking and eventually started to notice and become attentive to the amount of events that the city offers, from openings, to conferences and promotional events. We began to notice that all these events always had something to offer whether a buffet, or an aperitivo and at time even gadgets, which depending on the size of the event, were sometimes wasted.
While attending these events the trio often found themselves meeting all sorts of people of all ages and financial backgrounds who were all brought together by these events. This for them opened an alternative perspective to how the average free food or opening event is generally seen, not just as an opportunity for free goodies, but as a social playground.
So we decided to open our Facebook and Instagram pages to let people know about the little treasures we were discovering, as a means of making people aware of a cheaper version of food, entertainment or lifestyle in general.
