The first official trailer for Bohemian Rhapsody, the Queen biopic, has finally been released.
The film follows the story of the band since the beginning: from the moment when Freddie Mercury met Roger Taylor and Brian May until the global success, without forgetting the hardest moments, when no radio station passed their songs to Freddie's increasingly out of control lifestyle, until the triumphal reunion for the Live Aid, one of the greatest performances in rock history.
All told through the iconic Queen songs, from We Will Rock You to We Are the Champions.
Despite a complicated production (director Bryan Singer officially quit in order to assist his sick mother, but there are rumors of possible friction with the protagonist of the film and, even, of accusations of sexual harassment by the actor Cesar Sanchez-Guzman), the exciting images of the first scenes showcase an excellent reconstruction of the live and, above all, Rami Malek's impressive resemblance to Mercury (the actor of Mr Robot, the second choice after Sacha Baron Cohen), perfectly cast in the role of the charismatic singer.
In the cast of the movie, which will open in Italian cinemas November 29, star also Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Tom Hollander and Aidan Gillen (of Game of Thrones) and Mike Myers, iconic actor of the cult Austin Powers saga.
