Netflix knows how to get attention.
For this reason, they chose as the protagonists of their next film project some of the most interesting and cool young faces in Hollywood: Lily-Rose Depp, Timothée Chalamet, and Robert Pattinson.
The trio of actors will star in the film The King, inspired by Henry IV and Henry V by William Shakespeare.
The story will take place in the periods before, during and after the British military conflict with France culminated in the famous battle of Agincourt in 1415, during the "Hundred Years War" and will follow the vicissitudes of the unfortunate Prince Hal. The young man inherits the crown in troubled times and will have to learn to reign thanks to the help of Falstaff.
Hal will have the face and body of the star Call Me by your Name, while the daughter of Johnny Depp, a candidate in 2017 for the best-emerging actress at the César Awards, will be Princess Catherine, betrothed to Henry V.
The former vampire of "Twilight", who over the years has worked with important directors such as David Cronenberg and Werner Herzog, will play the Delfino of France.
The arrival of the new film on Netflix is scheduled for 2019.
