After Map Explore, Giphy integration, deluxe Bitmoji customization and custom face lenses, Snapchat adds two new features: group video chats and mentions.
The first innovation will allow users to chat with up to 16 of their friends, while for audiochat the limit is 32. Just select the appropriate icon in the group chat to make the video call, to which you can apply all the filters offered from Snapchat.
"We want to make the chat even more fun" - explains the company - "How you express yourself is up to you. You can use Lenses, join only with your voice, or simply send messages that others can read while they talk. Every conversation is unique!".
To mention friends in stories through tags, on the other hand, select "@" in the text field.
Both innovations will be active within a few weeks on smartphones around the world.
