The Star Trek by Tarantino will be written by the writer of “The Revenant”

Quentin Tarantino is working on a new film in the Star Trek saga with J.J. Abrams, who relaunched the space franchise in 2009.

The idea of man would be to bring to the screen an explicit story, R- rated, of which he will surely be a co-producer and, most likely, also a director.

The rumors claim that Tarantino and Abrams were looking for a team of writers to develop the project and among the most likely candidates list would include Lindsey Beer, author of Godzilla vs Kong, Drew Pearce of  Iron Man 3 and Mark L. Smith of The Revenant.

Today Paramount announced the choice of the latter.

Now the curiosity of all Trekkie and Quentin fans rises to “Star” levels.
