The Weeknd and Marvel together for 'Starboy' comic book

After Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Kiss, Nas, Dr. Dre, Missy Elliot, it is now up to The Weeknd to create the new Marvel's comic book.

The announcement comes from the singer's Twitter and Instagram profiles, concurrent with the New York Comic Con, with the preview image of the cover and this comment: “The Weeknd and Marvel present: STARBOY ... comic book coming soon.”

The project to transform the artist’s latest album something special you could guess from some of his statement made long ago.

"He’s [Starboy] a character that we created…He’s a cool, dope character that makes appearances a lot on the album." - The Weeknd told - "He’s a more braggadocious character that we all have inside of us."

There is not yet a precise date for the release of the comic, but it is scheduled for 2018.
