Kanye West might be American Idol's next judge

October 2015: Kanye West has just announced plans to become President of the United States of America and began his "campaign" from one of the most famous musical talent, American Idol.

Our eclectic rapper comes to hearings, leaving the three judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick and Keith Urban gobsmacked. He sings Gold Digger and won a golden ticket to enter the final stage of the show. Good marketing move but nothing else.

Two years later, NBC seems interested not to have West as a competitor but as its new judge. The network is trying to revive American Idol, canceled after its last bet on April 7, 2016, and the presence of the controversial star would help to increase the hype around the re-boot. Until yesterday, insistent rumors claimed that for Kanye the offer was very difficult to refuse but a few hours later, the gossip site TMZ  published an article in which the news gets totally denied, starting from the involvement of the show for Mr. West.
