Just a brief commercial during the Super Bowl and all Stranger Things fans are already into raptures. Every week there are new details, new small leaks that reveal or speculate what will happen in the next episodes. Entertainment Weekly magazine spreads very interesting details. Curious? Here they are. First: the second season will be available on Netflix from October 31, the same day from which the story will resume, an year after the return home of Will Byers (Noah Schnapp). As you could guess from the last broadcasted episode, the boy is struggling with the effects of what happened in the Upside Down. "He seems to be seeing images from the Upside Down ó the question is whether they're real or not" - explains Matt Duffer, creator of the series along with his brother -"So it seems like heís having some sort of post-traumatic stress disorder". Meanwhile, Joyce (Winona Ryder) dates a man hoping he will be a good father figure for her children: Bob (Sean Astin) a former classmate, described ad a good-hearted man who now runs the local radio. Sheriff Hopper, however, pledged to secrecy on abnormal events involving Hawkins, thus trying to protect Joyce and Will. Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Nancy (Natalia Dyer) share the death of their friends Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) and Barb (Shannon Purser), while Dustin consoles himself with a puppy that, as revealed by Gaten Matarazzo, "It's obviously not from this planet or this dimension". And the latest cast new entries? The new pair of siblings, Billy (Dacre Montgomery) and Max (Sadie Sink), could wreak havoc. The latter is a tomboy who loves to skate and becomes a friend with the group of kids, true protagonist of Stranger Thingsand t both Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Dustin will take a fancy to her. The other new entry Billy is described by Duffers as a kind of mysterious villain "Stephen King always has really great human villains. The evil in the real world is often as bad or worse than the supernatural evil, so we wanted to introduce a character like that". Finally there is the Dr. Owens (Paul Reiser) the new head of the laboratory. It is described as "friendly", but may have bad intentions.
Oh, and what about Eleven's new haircut?
