Gucci presents The Performers
The new format in collaboration with GQ

On Gucci website are online the first two episodes of The Performers, the new video serie by Gucci in collaboration with GQ. The first episode sees Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie wondering among discolored and decaying buildings of Tangier talking devoutly about the life of activist and writer Jean Genet, of how the life his life has been a source of inspiration. The songwriter and musician visits the secret places of Tangier where his mentor has been living, in a spiritual and visual journey at the limit of dreamlike.

The second episode focuses instead on chef Massimo Bottura. Fond of jazz music, Bottura travels Milan on his bicycle retracing the footsteps of Thelonius Monk until reachingn the Opera House in Milan where Thelonius performed in 1961. The chef's love for the musician can be find in a famous dish of his Osteria Francescana, "Tribute to Thelonius Monk".
