Apple unveiled the new MacBook Pro 13''
More power, storage, battery life and a new Magic Keyboard
May 5th, 2020
Apple has updated the MacBook Pro 13''. Designed for college students, designers, and creative people, the new version offers powerful performance, a Retina display, and all-day-long battery life. As with the Air and 16-inch Pro launched in November, the Cupertino-based company decided to abandon the ultra-flat keyboard and introduce the Magic Keyboard instead. In addition to the scissor mechanism which is more practical, comfortable and durable, the other most interesting changes are the introduction of the upside-down T-arrow keys and the ESC key which is now no longer included in the Touch Bar.
Recent months rumours suggesting that Apple was working on a 14-inch model of its professional laptop were wrong. The new MacBook Pro features a 13-inch retina display with support for more than 4 million pixels and millions of colours, as well as 500 nits of brightness, a wide P3 colour gamut and True Tone technology that allows you to adjust the tone of the screen according to the room and its lights. Other features include stereo speakers, Touch ID for simplified login, T2 Security chip for software verification and real-time encryption of all data running on the computer.
The 2020 MacBook Pro 13'' weighs just under 1.4 kg and is already available on Apple's website starting from a price of €1,529.
