5 things to do in Paris this weekend

From February 14th to 16th

5 things to do in Paris this weekend From February 14th to 16th

In the blink of an eye, the week comes to an end, and the weekend is on the horizon. Whether you're a fan of grand romantic gestures or against commercial celebrations, Paris offers plenty of options for this Valentine’s weekend. Whether it’s for a date or a night out with friends, there’s always a good reason to step out of your cocoon. Here’s what the city has in store for you.

Where to Eat: Chez Jip

Jip is a tiny counter, an ultra-short menu, and a clear vision: Esu Lee, formerly of CAM, returns with sharp, direct cuisine steeped in Korean broth. In this little wonder box on Rue de la Roquette, sixteen seats are up for grabs between raw walls and dim lighting. Three courses set the tone: sashimi with fermented plums, shrimp with Sichuan aioli and fennel, or homemade tofu, followed by noodles soaked in a bold tteokbokki sauce. No frills—just instinct, simplicity, and a perfectly spiced experience to remember.

Must-See: Air Afrique’s Valentine’s Day Film Club

Air Afrique Ciné-Club brings African cinema classics back into the spotlight with a Valentine’s Day like no other. On February 14, head to Christine Cinema to (re)discover Ousmane Sembène’s Xala. A biting satire where power, greed, and curses intertwine in a rapidly changing Dakar. A film that stings, questions, and remains just as relevant as it was in 1976.

4 Rue Christine, 75006 Paris

Where to Unwind: An Ambient Tea Party at the Cultural Center

A Sunday afternoon where time dissolves into a sonic infusion. INFUSIONS is an ambient tea party where the only rule is to lie back and listen. A selection of musicians and DJs weave a continuous soundscape, while a curated selection of herbal teas complements the slow-paced atmosphere. Put your phone away, take off your shoes, and let the warm water and gentle bass do the rest. It’s free, spots are limited, and yes, kids are welcome.

96 Bd de la Villette, 75019 Paris

Where to Shop: Lou Menais at Snow Plus

Lou Menais is finally bringing her project into the light with a weekend pop-up at Snow Plus. After three weeks of teasing, head to Le Marais at 3 Rue de la Corderie to discover her debut collection in a cozy space filled with the aroma of coffee and the buzz of reunions. Between sips and sweet bites, it’s a chance to explore her world before anyone else. Catch it on February 14-15, from 12 PM to 8 PM!

3 Rue de la Corderie, 75003 Paris

Where to Party: La Créole at the Everybody Festival

La Créole takes over the Everybody Festival for an opening night set to be hot and feverish. On February 14, head to Carreau du Temple for an inclusive party where bodies move freely, powered by the fiery sets of Rozaly, Sylvère, and Looking4Missy, plus the infectious energy of Warren Kayish on the mic. Blazing dancers, pounding bass, clubbing in full force—no dark circles the next day, just unforgettable memories. And this is just the beginning: until February 18, the festival celebrates body diversity with performances, voguing balls, drag cabaret, and workshops, all pushing boundaries and affirming that every identity deserves a place in the spotlight.
