5 things to do in Milan this weekend From February 14 to 16

This weekend is shaping up to be particularly romantic, as both Valentine's Day and Italy's most beloved festival, Sanremo, will take place. Whether you want to celebrate, find your soulmate, or simply a great spot to watch the famous Italian competition, nss has got you covered with the best places to spend the weekend in Milan.

Here are the 5 things to do in Milan this weekend.

To Eat - Gloria Osteria

It's worth dining at Gloria Osteria, owned by the French group Big Mamma, particularly interesting both for its location in the Brera district and for its glamorous setting. The opulent decor transports you straight back to the 1960s: mirrors, large windows, Murano chandeliers, and ceramic animals. Here, you can savor traditional Italian dishes with a slight French influence.

Via Tivoli, 3

To Chill - Maritz

This is Milan’s first “maritozzeria,” entirely dedicated to the iconic Roman pastry, curated by Iginio Massari Alta Pasticceria. The shop is located in Corso di Porta Ticinese and offers both the classic maritozzo and a variation with a custard-filled heart (as well as chocolate, hazelnut, and zabaione). There are also limited-edition specials, such as the Valentine's Day Maritozzo.

Corso di Porta Ticinese, 40

To Shop - Elevated Archives

Also located in Porta Ticinese, this vintage clothing store is highly sophisticated, curated with the goal of offering particularly rare and sought-after items. Each piece on sale here has played a fundamental role in the history of famous brands: these are not just ordinary vintage clothes but unique and hard-to-find pieces. With a vast selection from Dior to Gucci, there are exclusive finds not to be missed.

To Discover - Il Genio di Milano

At Gallerie d’Italia, you can admire the exhibition "Il Genio di Milano. Crocevia delle arti dalla Fabbrica del Duomo al Novecento," dedicated to the city and its innovations in the field of art. It showcases a succession of extraordinary artists who left their mark on Milan (including Leonardo Da Vinci, Francesco Hayez, and Lucio Fontana), organized in a thematic and chronological order.

Piazza della Scala, 6

To Party - Sanremelody

On February 14, nss edicola and Mymelodyseilatop invite you to spend Valentine's Day with them for the second edition of Sanremelody. There will be a collective screening of the Sanremo cover night, complete with beer and chips, to sing along to the best songs in Italian music history. For the occasion, a special capsule collection has also been launched, available online and at the nss newsstand. (Notify your participation to the nss and Mymelodyseilatop event by sending an e-mail to events@nssfactory.com)
