5 things to do in Milan this weekend
From 6 to 8 December
December 6th, 2024
Milan prepares for a weekend full of events, celebrating the festivities of Sant'Ambrogio and the Immacolata, and much more. In these sunny yet cold days, the Lombard capital will offer unique evenings, the discovery of new innovative restaurants, and the fantastic, traditional Christmas markets. As always, nss magazine has summarized a practical guide for your Milanese weekend.
Here are 5 things to do in Milan this weekend.
To Eat - Sandì
Last November, Sandì opened, a bistro open only for lunch (and on Fridays also for dinner) that aims to celebrate the meal most "neglected" by Milanese people. Between traditional regional recipes and cross-border influences, the fixed or à la carte menu also includes vegetarian dishes.
Via Francesco Hayez, 13
To Chill - Wundermrkt
This December, the Bagni Misteriosi in Milan once again host the Wunder Mrkt event, a special occasion to start celebrating Christmas with friends and the good old mulled wine. Music, vintage markets, and light installations await you on December 7 and 8.
Via Carlo Botta, 18
To Discover - Forme Mobili
In October, a new exhibition route was launched at the Museo del Design Italiano, which explores deeply interconnected design disciplines. Forme Mobili is «an invitation to think of movement as a design action», says the institution, which this time has included in one of its exhibitions subjects as diverse as fashion, nautics, technology, and interior design.
Via Emilio Alemagna, 6
To Shop - Milano Fashion Library Pop-up
Starting Thursday, December 5, until Christmas Eve, the exclusive Milano Fashion Library opens its doors to the public with a pop-up in the heart of Milan. At the Modes venue, you can find a selection of fashion magazines, books, catalogs, and prints from MFL's massive collection of 75,000 publications.
Piazza Risorgimento, 8
To Party - Tunnel Club
On Saturday, December 7, the rooms of Milan's Tunnel Club will be taken over by Hunee, a DJ capable of blending different atmospheres into a unique sound. The evening's marathon includes genres far apart, from the relaxing sounds of Portugal to Detroit techno. A must-try experience.
