Kenzo presents ‘Sun to Sun’
A short movie by Partel Oliva

June 7th, 2016
Kenzo has just released a short film inspired by its pre-fall 2016 collection: Sun to Sun.
The video, written and directed by Partel Oliva, reinterprets the traditional Japanese myth of Momotaro, which tells the story of a couple who adopts a boy they find inside a peach. In Kenzo’s version the protagonist is a girl, Momoko, who becomes the head of a gang of Harajuku queens and bikers that we see going around the neon-lit streets of Tokyo. The story gradually evolves into animation, curated by Sanghon Kim.
