Happy Bday Dries Van Noten

The Belgian designer  Dries Van Noten is what we would call all his father's footsteps. Born into a family from the ancient sartorial tradition: his father owned a men's clothing store, while his grandfather was a renowned tailor in between the two wars.

He graduated in 1981 with the class that will be known as the "Antwerp Six", the 6 Antwerp designers who revolutionized the fashion industry by putting the spotlight on the Flemish fashion.
