Vans and Valentino have launched a new collab at Paris Fashion Week

Alessandro Michele from Valentino is bringing back the same stylistic codes that he infused at Gucci during his creative direction of the brand, collaborations with streetwear brands included. At Paris Fashion Week, this weekend the designer showcased a collection filled with details and refined stylistic choices, but added a touch of athleticism to some looks by incorporating sneakers. These aren't just any sneakers, but the Vans Authentic, one of the most iconic models from the U.S. skate brand. The graphics on the canvas shoes from Valentino’s FW25 collection feature black and red checks with the Roman house’s logo and “I Love My Vans” graphics, along with green and pink checks. The model that has already made the rounds on the internet in recent hours is a pair of black Vans Authentic shoes with a red floral pattern and black and green checks. Paired with tailored trousers, ties, shirts, and sheer lace tops, will Alessandro Michele x Vans' new creations manage to bring streetwear back to the forefront?
