In Paris there's the first ever cashmere spa extreme cashmere and Miele collaborated for a unique event during PFW

From March 5 to 8, 2025, during Paris Fashion Week, extreme cashmere and Miele launched the first spa entirely dedicated to cashmere in Paris. The cashmere spa is a project that elevates everyday actions such as washing, drying, ironing, and folding, transforming them into rituals that preserve the quality and appearance of garments over time. The installation is designed to engage the senses through a carefully curated environment: the gentle sound of water, specially selected scents, and the softness of cashmere itself contribute to creating a tangible experience and a direct connection. Visitors will have the opportunity to take home a personalized laundry bag designed to facilitate the care of extreme cashmere garments, which will then be returned refreshed after a specialized treatment using Miele’s advanced technologies. The goal is not only to extend the life of garments but also to raise awareness of maintenance as an integral part of a more conscious approach to consumption.

The collaboration stems from the shared vision of Saskia Dijkstra, founder of extreme cashmere, and the brand Miele. Dijkstra has often emphasized that the longevity of a garment depends as much on its maintenance as on its production quality. «Don't buy a sweater, buy a Miele» is not just a slogan but a statement of intent that highlights the importance of daily care. With this project, extreme cashmere and Miele take a clear stance against disposable consumption, demonstrating how a mindful approach can turn fashion into something lasting. The cashmere spa thus becomes not only a physical space but also a cultural message that aims to emphasize the value of dedicating time to garment care.
