Salomon's Speedcross 3 breaks the barrier between style and comfort
Ama Lou, the brand's ambassador, tells us everything about it

The world's most beloved sports brand among cool kids has struck again: Salomon returns today with the Speedcross 3 campaign, successfully soothing us with captivating imagery while making us want to grab our most comfortable sneakers and embark on an endless equestrian adventure. And for good reason, the campaign was shot in a place blending nature, modernity, and mysticism: a ranch in the heart of Malibu. It shines the spotlight on the young English singer-songwriter Ama Lou, brand ambassador, who fell in love with it and drew inspiration from it for writing her latest album I Come Home Late.
«Being up there has saved me so many times. It's like you're in another time, my version of the world stops, and my mind can rest for a moment », Ama said. Being in the mountains with breathtaking views, living simply, and exercising with horses allowed her to just exist. « If you completely relax, you quickly recognize the sound of the environment conversing around you. You become part of the conversation, the landscape, the ecosystem in all its complexity and immensity. As I said before, it's magical », she explains. A magical setting that has greatly influenced the young singer artistically, which we owe to her latest album release, including the track Tokyo Cowboy, which particularly refers to this little oasis.
But to live peacefully this ranch life and feel comfortable in her shoes while writing songs, a suitable uniform is essential. The Speedcross 3 naturally came to her, allowing her not only to fully explore this surrounding natural space from which she draws inspiration, but also to do so in the most comfortable way possible. « The Speedcross 3 are comfortable and chic, they are actually functional and go with everything! I’m wearing them right now at the ranch, climbing these hills, but I'm about to head back to the city to start my day and I absolutely don't feel the need to change! », she exclaims. A pair that, like her, isn’t afraid to disrupt paradigms, break aesthetic rules, transform stylistic landscapes, and be a symbol of personal expression without ever trying to be something it’s not.
