Streaming on the platform of Camera Nazionale della Moda
September 17th, 2020
During the upcoming Milan Fashion Week, which will take place from 22 to 28 September, the Milan fashion academies will present the debut on the catwalks of their fashion design students - a unique opportunity for many young designers to make themselves known by press and buyers. Among these digital shows, there will also be the 37th edition of the Secoli Fashion Show, organized by the famous Istituto Secoli of Milan that will be hosted in a dedicated section on the streaming platform of the National Chamber of Fashion, created in collaboration with Platform System Fashion Training System.
The creativity of the students selected by the three-year-old who has reached the end of the training course, will be expressed through a fashion film in which they will appear outfits designed and made themselves – in a way closer to that of digital performance than of the classic fashion show. Bemberg by Asahi Kasei and Tessitura Grisotto provided the materials for the creation of the clothes while Lectra decided to reward one of the students with a Modaris License, a useful tool for the creation of models and development sizes.
Three collections of womenswear and two menswear collections inspired by the concept of "form" will be presented, recombined, subverted and cancelled in a series of looks created by Xintong Han, Martina Picotti, Giulia Eleonora Gioacchini, Mirsela Shehi, Marco Bagnardi, Liu Xin, Gianni D'Aniello, Michela Caneo, Bijay Polotti, Costanza Riva Kaleem Akyirefi, Shokoofeh Golpaygani, Shiru Zeng, Giulia Romano , Alessia Galliani, Marta Trabucchi, Roberta Lana and Dina Saibene.
