BAPE and Comme des Garçons announce a new collaboration
The two Japanese fashion giants return to work together after eight years

A BATHING APE* announced yesterday the upcoming collaboration with Comme des Garçons via a post on his Instagram page that shows, in a single image, the logos of the two brands side by side. The collaboration, which will take place with the main line of Comme des Garçons and not with CDG PLAY, like the previous partnership of 2012, will be exclusive to the BAPE Store inside the Store of Comme des Garon in Shinsaibashi, Osaka opened last April - the first time the two brands coexist in the same commercial space.
The special capsule follows a bichromatic black and white theme. The protagonists are two zip-up hoodies, one of which is decorated with Bape's Camo Print and a blue shirt with a black front print. In addition, a range of "shrink t-shirts" will be released, one of BAPE's most iconic products of the 1990s, and are compressed t-shirts in the shape of a monkey head that can fit in the palm of a hand.
The capsule collection A BATHING APE's x Comme des Garçons will be made available in the BAPE STORE® COMME des GARONS in Osaka on June 20th via a special lottery.
