Milan Fashion Week goes digital
The men's and women's collections will be presented between 14 and 17 July
May 6th, 2020
In the wake of London Fashion Week, which will become a digital event this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Milan Fashion Week will also move its calendar online, from 14 to 17 July, with a series of presentations through which designers and creatives will be able to present the men's spring/summer 2021 collections and the spring/summer 2021 men's and women's pre-collections. The Milan Digital Fashion Week will be visible on the digital channels of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion and will offer an inclusive vision of Made in Italy fashion dedicated to both the big brands and the new designers.
The National Chamber of Italian Fashion will adopt the use of a digital platform on which will be presented content such as photos and videos, interviews, talks and backstage, organized in slots dedicated to each brand, creating a varied schedule, to which all fashion insiders will be able to freely access. Other digital events provided by the program are in-depth webinars available on accreditation, live streaming lectures with the main players of the fashion system and a series of live performances organized by creative networks that revolve around individual brands. A secondary platform will instead be dedicated to showroom activities.
