An American artist puts celebs on sandwiches

The two hottest topics on social networks are with no doubts food and celebs. Just think of how many likes the picture of a hamburger surrounded by French fries is able to collect in a few seconds, exactly like a Kim Kardashian’s selfie.

Jeff McCarthy, American artist based in Los Angeles, has skilfully combined these two trends, giving birth to an Instagram account which counts today more than 21,000 followers: Celebs on Sandwiches.

In his original drawings, your favourite celebs are portrayed – in the form of caricature –comfortably sitting on a sandwich. The care McCarthy employs in representing these media personalities is the same he adopts to paint the sandwiches: each of them has different ingredients, studied to the last detail. From the turkey and avocado sandwich to the classic cheeseburger, every celeb has his worthy companion.
