Buckle up, the most transgressive girl band of the '90s is coming back. The Spice Girls, in particular Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Mel B, have revealed that they are officially joining forces to rebuild the much-loved girl power, but with a news.
The trio announced in a video message that they will abandon the name Spice Girls, calling themselves GEM (acronym of their initials), to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Wannabe, the single with which the queens of pop debuted in 1996.
Nothing is definitive yet, but something is going on and tabloids are already speaking about a big concert in Hyde Park (London). The GEM don’t confirm, but reassure: ''Fans, you are all invited!''.
