Save the date(s): October 8 and 9, 2016. David Lynch presents Festival of Disruption: two days of music, virtual reality, film, art and culture.
The Twin Peaks and Blue Velvet director will gather at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles choreographers, rockers, electronic music gurus, techno producers, DJs and soundtrack composers. The line-up includes Robert Plant & the Sensational Space Shifters, singer and model Sky Ferreira, St. Vincent, the Xiu Xiu, Angelo Badalamenti, Questlove, but also architect Frank Gehry, actors Mel Brooks, Kyle MacLachlan and Laura Dern. Debbie Harry and Chris Stein of Blondie will stage a talk.
During the event there will be a screening of a number of rare short films by Lynch, an exhibition of his photographs and transcendental meditation courses.
The tickets will be available starting from June 24 and all the income from the event will go to the David Lynch Foundation.
