Prince died last Thursday morning in Minneapolis, where he was born on June 7, 1958, in a family of jazz musicians. #1 Prince was his real name
He changed identity several times, but his real name was what made him famous, as his father said: «I named my son 'Prince' because I wanted him to do everything I wanted to do».
#2 At 10 he danced with James Brown
Interviewed by MTV in 1985, the artist recalled: «My stepdad put me onstage with James Brown and I danced a bit until the bodyguard took me off» .
#3 He's responsible for the Parental Advisory label on albums
In 1984 the sexually explicit lyrics of songs such as Cream and Darling Nikki unleashed the ire of the Parents Music Resource Center's founder, which imposed the Parental Advisory label on the most controversial music releases.
