Eduardo De La Calle - Cadenza Records

Cadenza Records da sempre ci ha abituati ad ascoltare nuovi artisti che propongono suoni dance assai astratti: Eduardo De La Calle ne è un esempio e per il suo debutto in Cadenza propone una nuova visione musicale. Dopo aver rilasciato un Ep per la sua etichetta Analog Solutions, il dj spagnolo affida il suo ultimo lavoro nelle mani di Luciano.

“Pink Water” è la prima traccia del nuovo Ep “Percursors”;  si snoda intorno ad un groove tipicamente minimal perfettamente collegato ad un synth melodico e malinconico che è il pilastro portante di questa traccia.

L’altra traccia “Madhusudhana”, ad ascoltarla può sembrare assai martellante, ma non è così, non stanca l’orecchio perché è costruita su una base jazz funk, che ne ammorbidisce l’ascolto.

La terza track, “The Sneak”,  è un tripudio psichedelico: effetti ping che si scontrano costantemente contro un riverbero da paura.

Nulla da dire, Cadenza propone un ennesimo lavoro dalle indiscusse qualità sonore, che rilancia l’etichetta partendo da un volto nuovo che non impiegherà molto tempo per farsi conoscere e amare.

"Pink Water" is the first track of the new EP "Percursors"; winds around a typically minimal groove perfectly connected to a synth melody and melancholy that is the cornerstone of this track.

The other track "Madhusudhana," may seem to hear much pounding, but it is not so, does not tire the ear because it is built on a jazz funk, which softens the listening.

The third track, "The Sneak" is a psychedelic riot: ping effects that constantly collide against a reverb fear.

Nothing to say, Cadenza offers yet another work from the undisputed sound quality, which raises the label from a new face that does not take a long time to get to know and love.
