Gabber Eleganza aka Alberto Guerrini's project started in 2011 as a web archive celebrating post-rave aesthetics and gabber culture and then became, with the collaboration of photographer Ewen Spencer and Mark Leckey, a book entitled Hardcore Soul.
In recent years his journey has also evolved in the music field, first with The Hakke Show, a 100% hard-core DJ set, and then with the Never Sleep label, named after the debut EP published in 2018 for Lorenzo Senni's Presto!?. Now Gabber Eleganza is ready for another adventure and presents The Real Life, an EP in collaboration with HDMIRROR that will be released on May 29 for the Berlin label Live From Earth Klub.
Frozen Dopamina is the single that anticipates the four tracks of the work and comes with a video that visually evokes "the crazy thoughts a raver could have on a dance floor, or during this moment, breaking out of quarantine, or just imagining it."
