Princess Nokia will be performing in Milan in November
After the cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the American artist has announced a new gig in Italy
April 20th, 2020
On November 4, 2020, Princess Nokia will play at Santeria Toscana in Milan.
During the event, initially scheduled for March 3 and then postponed due to COVID-19, the New York singer will present to the public Everything is Beautiful and Everything Sucks, her latest release consisting of two antithetical yet complementary albums.
In the three years that have passed since her live show at Magnolia featuring LIM and M¥SS KETA, the rapper has become one of the most interesting talents on the contemporary scene, for her music, for the lyrics in which she talks about feminism, diversity and minorities, but also for her daring looks. The new double album with singles like Sugar Honey Iced Tea (S.H.I.T.) and Gross, poised between poetry and rap, funky and gothic rock, mainstream and underground, is Princess Nokia's response to a society that often forces us to take sides, to define ourselves, to be good or bad. More than ever her talent, her feminist vibe and queer identity merge in her art to convey a single message: feel comfortable in your own skin, rebelling against every form of homologation, even those fashionistas to the point of feeling free to reveal herself naked as she really does in the Balenciaga video.
The next Milan live concert will be the perfect opportunity to see how this evolution of style, both musical and aesthetic, will influence Princess Nokia's live performance.
Previously purchased tickets will remain valid; pre-sales for the new date will soon be open on Ticketone.
