Berghain is closing doors for coronavirus
Not even the pandemic can go through that door selection
March 13th, 2020
The Berghain, the most famous techno club in the world, famous for its draconian door selection, the ban on photographing the interior and everything that happens in those same interiors (and so many things happen in there) announced today that, because of the coronavirus emergency, will cancel all its events until next April 20th.
The closure of the Berghain comes along with the cancellation of festivals around the world, the most illustrious of which is Coachella, but also the SXSW and the Miami Ultra. Not to be cancelled or postponed, however, is the Met Gala that according to the statements of the organizers should take place without postponements because of the difficulty (strangely relatable) to find a new date in which all the celebrities involved are free in the same time. The Glastonbury Festival in England yesterday also announced its line-up, which includes the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, Lana del Rey and Dua Lipa, and the organizers are not planning on postponing it.
