Sónar Festival shares its Day time Playlist

In our build-up to the monumental Sónar festival this summer in Barcelona on Thursday 18th, Friday 19th and Saturday 20th of July. We wanted to get you in the right mood by sharing the latest Sónar playlist. Europe's leading festival for the more experimental side of electronic music, Sónar is divided up into a day and night event. The Sónar by day session, which takes place partly outdoor underneath the lovely Spanish summer sun caters, in a loose generalization, to a more day time appropriate sound. Where Sónar by Night as expected is more of a full-on rave affair.

For three days in a row, Sónar day takes over the Fira Montjuic complex, with 5 indoor and outdoor stages packed with live electronica performances and innovative DJ sets. This year, every genre imaginable is represented: from the US house and garage of Theo Parrish, through to the sultry soul of FKJ and Masego, via experimental electronica, musica urbana, emotive techno and more. 

To get you in the vibe and guide you through this exciting melting pot of musical influences, the festival organizers have put together this thematic playlist, offering one of the many possible journeys through the Sounds of Sónar by Day.
