Masamasa is the new Italian music talent to keep an eye on
The artist has just published three new tracks
November 2nd, 2018
His name has been circulating in the Italian indie music scene for months now, and you've probably heard his voice in the MAIOLE's song, Cose Pese, and we're sure his lyrics were stuck in your head for days.
Now Masamasa is bakc with three brand new songs. Born in Caserta in 1997, gratuated in Germany and now based in Milan, Federico De Nicola is the new talent of Italian music to keep an eye on. Earlier this years his tracks Friendly, Contento and TIPAINDIE, all produced by his countryman Simoo, were immediately appreciated by public and critics, making him earn a stable position in the Viral 50 playlist for several weeks.
Over the course of just one day Masamasa has published three new tracks. Bilancia is only apparently a love ballad, when it actually deals with the issues of weight and food, with which Federico has been struggling for years. The influences of gospel and classic rap are reflected in Noi, where Masamasa revisits his early love interests and friends, while Magnifico highlights his vocal abilities, Federico moves easily between flow and choral chorus. The three songs are gathered in the playlist IO&TRE.
