Billie Eilish is back with "you should see me in a crown”
A dark and creepy video for the lovely voice of "Ocean eyes"
July 20th, 2018
After the shiny and viral success of "Ocean Eyes", the moodiest teen popstar Billie Eilish has dropped on Wednesday her new single, ‘you should see me in a crown’ proving that there’s no one quite like Billie right now.
It’s her first solo single of the year so far, following collaboration with ‘lovely’ with Khalid – and she’s not playing nice anymore.
The video is quite creepy and minimal: ten spiders are slightly playing around a Cristian shiny diamond crown, while she kicks off with some mumbled vocals and a melody that sounds like the most sinister nursery rhyme you ever heard. “Wait ’til the world is mine/visions I vandalize,” she warns before referencing her dreamy break out hit – “Cold in my kingdom size/fell for these ocean eyes”. The track was written by the 16-year old pop sensation and produced by her brother, actor/musician Finneas O'Connell. Keep an eye on this girls, because she's just going up.
