A$AP Rocky is back.
The leader of the collective A$AP Mob posted on his Twitter account a new song, which later made its debut even on SoundCloud.
In the track, entitled "5IVE $TAR$", the Harlem rapper talks about the trend of giving stars as a yardstick for anything from Uber's driver to a restaurant or to sexual relations.
Raps:
"Left the restaurant five stars. I was fucking with five stars".
While DRAM sings:
"If I sip the D'USSÉ, get me through every time".
The direct and simple sound of the song did not conquer the many fans of the artist who commented in a negative way, hoping that it will not be included in the next album that is said to be titled "Testing".
Sometime A $ AP had said about the release of his new work:
"My new album is really about testing new sounds. People are scared to test new sounds, so they go with what’s current ’cause it’s the easy thing to do. The top 100 songs sound a certain way. People cater more to that because it’s a bigger demographic behind that, or it’s a guaranteed demographic behind that. I prefer to experiment and have my crowd grow with me and to reach new crowds. I don’t just rap-I actually make music".
