Jay-Z and Beyoncé apparently worked on an album together
The rapper confesses it interviewed by The New York Times

The rumors circulated for some time, but now comes the confirmation: Jay-Z and Beyoncé were working on an album together and recorded their respective recent album, 4:44 and the highly successful Lemonade.
Jay Z told it at the New York Times in a long interview, confessing that she had started working with a wife along with a wife as a sort of couple therapy to overcome the problems that put their wedding in crisis especially man’s betrayal
"We were using our art almost like a therapy session. And we started making music together" - explains the artist urged by Dean Baquet and specifies that the failure to release the project is due to the processing of Lemonade - "And then the music she was making at that time was further along. So her album came out as opposed to the joint album that we were working on".
From the words of rapper transpires still hope that those songs will, sooner or later, be published:
"We still have a lot of that music. And this is what it became. There was never a point where it was like, 'I’m making this album'. I was right there the entire time".
