Salmo presents LebonskiLab

After an incessant live activity and musical production that made him win a place of honor in the Italian rap panorama - and a Golden Disco in 2013 - the pioneering rapper and producer Salmo returns with a new creative project: LebonskiLab.

LebonskiLab reinterprets the creativity of the multifaceted Sardinian artist by placing it in other areas, a real creative lab that sees at its center the insatiable desire to constantly challenge and never cease to test himself, presenting not Salmo the rapper rather Maurizio Pisciottu the creative.

"LebonskiLab is a universal container and its content is not just about my music or my video clips, but all those works that will be affected by my artistic direction. To put myself disposable to others is a need I have long felt, a stimulus that I feel of having to follow... I never wanted to be just a rapper aimed at his exclusive success", said Salmo.

For the launch of his latest project, Salmo presents a video that tells the man behind the mask, the personal story of Maurizio Pisciottu and that path that led him from the streets of Olbia to the stage of Italy, a story deeply connected to a daily life made of important challenges and details, such as a shoe that he is particularly connected with.

"To introduce LebonskiLab I wanted to make something real, that was true and that belonged to who I am," the artist continues, "The Converse Chuck Taylor has always been with me, it is part of my growth path, both personal and musical, since baby I was a kid and that's exactly what I wanted to tell in the video - that side of things that make and will always be part of who you are. Chuck Taylor reminds me of this: time passes, the years go by and the trends fades but there are so strong things that will always remind you who you are and what you did".
